Scott Eggert composed and music directed Circle of Stones’ critically acclaimed production of Gilgamesh, as well as their award-winning production of The New Earth. He also composed the score for eleven musicals written for Pebble Theatre, their children’s outreach program. He is an accomplished musician with twenty- three years of professional experience. He plays piano in New York’s Nite-Time Band and performs in a Native American voice/drum ensemble. He is versed in many different musical styles including Classical, Jazz, Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Folk, World Music, and the metaphysics of sound. He studied at Pittsburgh's Carnegie-Mellon University, and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He also specializes in Overtone Singing, the art of singing two or more notes simultaneously. His Overtone Singing is showcased in his own CD Akróasis as well as in the soundtrack CD for The New Earth. He is currently the Music Director at Unity of Lehigh Valley, the Expressive Arts teacher at Seven Generations Charter School and accompanies the ballet classes at DeSales University.
